Welcome

I am assistant professor at the Department of Communications Management, Shih Hsin University, Taiwan.

My research interests are in public communication of science. I participated in several international projects and I am particularly interested in how scientists’ communication attitudes and practices vary across cultures.

Most of my empirical research has dealt with scientists’ involvement in public communication across countries, in particular with their use of new media for public communication. I also studied science in popular culture. Currently, I am involved in research about the public relations activities of universities and research institutes in Taiwan.
